Emilia’s Crafted Pasta extends EOTHO scheme

Emilia’s Crafted Pasta, has announced it is extending its Eat Out To Help Out scheme throughout October. 

The restaurant, which has locations in both Algate and St.Katherine’s Docks, London, officially reopened after Covid-19 restrictions back in July.  

They are now offering 50% off pasta (up to £10 per person discount) on Monday and Tuesday as part of its own EOTHO scheme. 

The Eat Out To Help Out scheme was originally launched by Chancellor Rishi Sunak back in August to help struggling restaurant owners recover from the financial fallout of the pandemic. 

The scheme officially ended on 1 September. 

Emilia’s founder Andrew Macleod said: “EOTHO was a brilliant scheme to get the ball rolling again for the hospitality industry. August was the first stepping stone to securing the future of the restaurant industry. Next was the time for offices to return in September.

“We were never planning to extend EOTHO beyond September as it goes against our brand offering, which is already great value for money however the post-COVID world is very different when it relates to hospitality as consumer confidence is extremely low and offices have been discouraged to come back.”

He added: “We want to keep encouraging people to come to eat in our restaurants, which we have made sure are safe for all.”
