The Pony and Trap owners to open new Bristol restaurant

Josh Eggleton, owner of The Pony and Trap gastropub has announced the opening of a second restaurant in South Bristol.
According to ITV News, the new venue entitled The Pony North Street will open in Bedminster, with an official date for its launch unconfirmed.
Since the outbreak of Covid-19, The Pony and Trap has remained closed. However Eggleton has now confirmed it will reopen in spring 2021 under a new name.
Reports first published in The Guardian suggest that the restaurant will rebrand with a new focus on offering baking, foraging and fermentation courses for people in the local community.
It is said that as part of the rebrand the Pony and Trap’s Michelin star which was awarded in 2011 will now be lost.
