The Restaurant Group chairman to step down

Once stepped down from the group, Debbie Hewitt will take up the role of chairman of the English Football Association in January 2022

The Restaurant Group has announced that its chairman Debbie Hewitt will be stepping down from the board with effect from 31 December 2021.

Once stepped down from the group, Hewitt will take up the role of chairman of the English Football Association in January 2022.

The board has commenced a formal process to recruit her successor which is led by Graham Clemett, senior independent director.
