Heavenly Desserts appoints trio ahead of expansion

Luxury dessert franchise Heavenly Desserts has made three appointments to its team as it looks to expand into international markets. The company has announced that Martha Prudence has been promoted to new store openings trainer. Louise Wilkinson has been appointed brand excellence auditor and Warren Smith has been appointed area manager for the north and Scotland. Prudence has been promoted from her role as restaurant manager at the Southampton branch for her “exceptional performance” in the role. She will oversee implementation of Heavenly Desserts’ core brand values with the launch of each new store, training teams on brand standards throughout the customer journey from arrival, to plate, to bill. Wilkinson has more than 20 years experience in the casual dining sector, including working for Hickory’s Smoke BBQ and Marston’s PLC. She will be responsible for supporting franchisees and restaurants in all aspects of store operations. Smith brings previous experience as an area manager, along with his former role as a cluster manager for Farmhouse Inns - a Greene King offshoot where Warren managed 72 members of staff. He will oversee a series of store openings in Glasgow in the coming months. Heavenly Desserts currently has 42 stores in the UK and is planning to open more. It has also confirmed plans to open stores in Canada. Yousif Aslam, co-founder and managing director, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our team at such a pivotal time for the company.
