Emerald Hospitality Group to launch Riviera in Mayfair
The new restaurant will be taking over a Japanese restaurant site, Sake no Hana on St James’s Street, following an extensive refurbishment
Emerald Hospitality Group has announced the launch of a Southern French restaurant, Riviera, in Mayfair.
The hospitality group, which is also a parent company of the three London sites, El Norte, Zuaya and Como Garden, said that Riviera will open its doors on 21 April 2023.
The new restaurant will be taking over a Japanese restaurant site, Sake no Hana on St James’s Street, following an extensive refurbishment.
On the first floor, diners will find the main restaurant which serves 120 covers alongside an open plan kitchen.
The ground floor will feature Riviera’s bar and lounge, opening on 11 May 2023, with a capacity of 60 covers.
An additional 54-cover outdoor terrace and additional al fresco lounge area is expected to launch in June.
Interior designer Lazaro Rosa Violan Studio has designed the restaurant and has transformed the former traditional Japanese setting into a Southern French restaurant.
