Neapolitan pizza parlour, Motherdough, opened its first restaurant at London Dock, Wapping. Following on from his most recent success of independent brunch café BOBO & WILD – with locations in Shoreditch Park, Clapham Common and South Woodford – Motherdough’s creator Farkhod Najmetdinov is well-versed in creating fresh and exciting F&B concepts that contribute to the fabric of local communities. 

KFC UK&I has unveiled its first ever nutrition progress update, which tracks the progress it has made on nutrition across its menu and aims to increase transparency for consumers and wider industry. For 2025, KFC aims to develop nutrition pillars in partnership with academics, nutritional experts and campaign groups.

Heartwood Collection reopened The White Horse after an extensive £4m refurbishment. The historic Grade II-listed building, located on Dorking’s high street, has been transformed into a pub with rooms. The White Horse now boasts a sheltered courtyard for outdoor dining and drinking, in addition to bike racks for cyclists and a dedicated dog shower.

Admiral Taverns reopened The Brockburn in Glasgow following a £340k refurbishment. Formerly The Pollock, the pub has been completely redecorated with an updated bar and lounge area to create a “warm and inviting atmosphere”. The pub is part of the Proper Pubs division at Admiral Taverns which is part of a £27m plan aimed at improving a number of community pubs.
