SSP Group has reported a 19% rise in revenues to £1.5bn in H1. The global travel concessions operator also revealed that it is on track to deliver on its full-year expectations. The group expects FY24 demand for travel to remain resilient despite macroeconomic and political uncertainty.

Spaces at The Spine appointed Gareth Penn as its new head chef. Penn will lead the kitchen in all areas, covering catering and the adjoining wellness cafe, The Base. He brings a wealth of experience to the role with a 26-year-long career primarily working in hotels and restaurants.
