Today’s news in brief – 04/07/24

Pizza Pilgrims has reported that PBT has doubled, as revenues rose 37% to a record-breaking £28.7m on £21m in 2022. Alongside this, the company’s EBITDA rose to £2.4m, up from £1.1m the previous year and the average monthly number of employees also grew from 354 in 2022 to 416 in 2023.

Fork and Field has partnered with Manchester Cathedral, and will be responsible for providing bespoke catering services for a wide range of events and accommodating gatherings of nearly 1,000 attendees. This contract will lead to the creation of 10 new jobs, both full-time and part-time.

Joro will be relocating to a new site within the Oughtibridge Paper Mill on the edge of the Peak District. The Nordic/Japanese-inspired restaurant will reopen in September and will allow married couple, Luke French and Stacey Sherwood-French to enhance the concept.
