Taco Bell UK extends closing hours at select locations
The first Encore Hours began in London yesterday (15 August) at Taco Bell Wembley High Road and will run until Tuesday 20 August
Taco Bell UK has launched Encore Hours, a new initiative that will see closing hours get extended at select locations to cater to concertgoers.
With current restaurant options closing as early as 10pm, Taco Bell said music fans often “face the tough choice of missing their favourite artists’ encore or grabbing a bite to eat”.
The first Encore Hours began in London yesterday (15 August) at Taco Bell Wembley High Road and will run until Tuesday 20 August. This venue is just a short walk from Wembley Stadium and will remain open until 2am.
The following Taco Bell restaurants will also extend their opening hours to 2am: Clapham High Street, London, on 20 September; Southampton Row, London, on 4 October; Camden High Street, London, on 22 October; and Western Road, Brighton, on 12 December.
Amy Durini, international CMO at Taco Bell, said: “At Taco Bell, we believe fans should not have to choose between tacos and tunes – and that’s how Encore Hours was born. We’re really excited to be extending our opening hours across selected restaurants this summer, kicking off with London’s Wembley High Road this month.
“Taco Bell is committed to showing up for music fans. By extending our opening times, we’re making sure fans can enjoy the encore of their gig and not miss out on grabbing a bite afterwards.”
The launch of Encore Hours comes on the heels of Taco Bell’s launch of the ‘Feed the Beat’ programme in the UK earlier this year, which underscores the fast food chain’s “commitment to music, artists and music fans”.
