Today’s news in brief – 30/09/24

Incipio Group has reported record sales of £25.9m for the year to 31 December 2023, having increased 32% against 2022. Meanwhile, the group also reported “record” adjusted EBITDA on continuing operations of £2.5m – a £1.8m improvement on the previous year. It comes as the group focused on its operational performance. 

Average sales in the week ended 21 September were 3% ahead against 2023. Widespread sunshine brought consumers out to beer gardens and terraces, and sales were up by between 8% and 11% from Monday 16 to Thursday 19 September. Beer and cider sales were up by 8% and 9% respectively, reversing two weeks of year-on-year declines.
