Sticks’n’Sushi appoints new CFO

Danish-Japanese restaurant group, Sticks′n′Sushi, has announced the appointment of Kushal Banerjee as its new chief financial officer. 

With over 17 years of experience, Banerjee brings “significant” expertise across M&A, capital markets and corporate strategy. 

He joins Sticks’n’Sushi after five years at Azzurri Group, the private equity-backed hospitality investment platform with an estate of over 230 locations, where he was finance director.

In his new role, Banerjee will lead the finance teams across Copenhagen, Berlin and London and will be responsible for the brand’s financial decision making, implementation and of strategic board recommendations and contributing to the overall expansion of the group.

Founded in Copenhagen in 1994 by half-Danish, half-Japanese brothers Jens and Kim Rahbek and Thor Andersen, Sticks′n′Sushi has grown to include twelve restaurants in and around the Danish capital, 14 in the UK and three in Berlin, Germany.
