Boxpark has had its new location in Birmingham greenlit. Located in Digbeth, Boxpark has signed a 15-year lease in the Floodgate Street Arches. The new opening, which will see the group invest roughly £5m into the local area, is expected to create around 200 new jobs upon launch in 2025. 

Sticks’n’Sushi has named Kushal Banerjee its new CFO. With other 17 years of experience, Banerjee brings “significant” expertise across M&A, capital markets and corporate strategy. He joins the restaurant group after five years as finance director at Azzurri Group, the private equity-backed hospitality investment platform.

Terra Mare has officially opened in Cardiff today (11 October). Promising to bring “the authentic flavours” of Puglia, Southern Italy, the restaurant is set in a former cocktail bar on High Street and features a 50-cover dining room with additional seating in the bar area at the front and on its outdoor terrace.
