Caffè Nero has acquired 200 Degrees for an undisclosed amount, making it the fifth brand in the group. Founded in Nottingham in 2012 by Rob Darby and Tom Vincent, 200 Degrees has 21 coffee houses across the Midlands, has its own roastery and operates an online e-commerce channel that sells directly to customers at home.
Stonegate has appointed Kay Bartlett as its new CMO, effective from February 2025. She currently holds the same role at Wagamama and will bring experience in marketing, branding, digital and loyalty. Stonegate has also promoted Nick Marks to group commercial director to oversee all procurement activities and lead the group’s supply chain operation.
BM Caterers has appointed Elisabeth Ortiz Kuefler as ESG project manager, a newly-created role. Ortiz Kuefler will take on a key leadership role in driving BM’s sustainability and social impact initiatives, and support the company on its journey to becoming B Corp Certified.
Kitnors in Exmoor National Park has been acquired by new operators for an undisclosed amount. The tearoom, which benefits from a large tea garden with over 50 covers and a fully-fitted outdoor kitchen, is under a National Trust lease and also contains a three-bedroom owners’ accommodation.
