Chaiiwala has officially opened a new cafe location at Birmingham Airport.
The new site will offer signature products from drinks such as Karak Chai, Karak Coffee to food such as English-ish Breakfast, Masala Chips and Samosas whether they order at the till, or in advance via their phone.
The Chaiiwala concession has been developed as a bespoke standalone kiosk following an investment of £500,000 and will be the company’s 115th store across the world.
The 1,100 sq ft store will be located in the departures area at Birmingham airport and will create 20 jobs
Customers will be able to use the low-level seating and serving areas across the departures lounge at Birmingham Airport while having “clear visibility” across the departures area to flight information boards and boarding gates.
Chaiiwala will also operate a click and collect service via its app.
The new airport store will be operated by long-term partner EG On The Move, which currently runs a number of Chaiiwala stores in the UK.
Additionally, the new site will operate approximately 17 hours a day between 3.00am and 10pm, catering to early-morning flyers and late-night travellers alike.
