KFC to hire 700 permanent staff ahead of Christmas
The recruitment drive comes as KFC continues accelerating its growth strategy in the UK and Ireland chicken market
KFC has announced plans to recruit over 700 new permanent staff to join the UK and Ireland’s leading chicken brand ahead of Christmas.
Open to anyone eligible to work in the UK and Ireland, KFC is offering both part-time and full-time permanent roles at restaurants across the country – from Southampton to Glasgow.
Available positions include a mixture of customer-facing roles such as team leader and team member jobs to some kitchen-based roles.
Successful candidates will have the option to start immediately and like with all jobs at KFC, new team members will be given training and development opportunities to support their progression.
The recruitment drive comes as KFC continues accelerating its growth strategy in the UK and Ireland chicken market.
The company is aiming to open 500 new restaurants across the country over the next decade, a move set to create more than 20,000 jobs, support local economies and communities, and bring KFC’s chicken to more people, wherever they are.
Kathryn York, chief people officer at KFC UK and Ireland, said: “We’re really excited to be growing our restaurant teams to help serve up KFC’s delicious fried chicken to customers at our busiest time of year.
“These roles are a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to learn and build a career in a fun, energetic and supportive environment, where people are recognised for their potential above all else. With a range of jobs available, I’d encourage anyone interested in joining us to apply now.”
