UKH with the support of industry bosses have warned of the effects of the autumn budget, saying that it will cause small business closures, job losses and reduced investment in the sector. UKH boss Kate Nicholls was supported by the likes of Fuller’s, Stonegate Group and Whitbread, as well as a further 209 hospitality businesses.
The Revel Collective has outlined its new board structure, as non-executive directors Jemima Bird and Willian Tuffy will not seek re-election at the group’s AGM on 3 December. News comes as The Revel Collective completed its recent equity fundraise and the restructuring plan.
Soho Coffee has opened its new format store in Westfield, London. Soho Coffee and Kitchen aims to “redefine the coffee shop experience” with a focus on community, comfort and craftsmanship. The store features a welcoming seating area both inside and outside, as well as a new, exclusive menu that offers a wider variety of food and drink options.
The co-founder of Kin Café in Fitzrovia will open a new restaurant on Foley Street in the same area on 18 November. This will be Reza and Mohammed Malekzadeh’s fifth site, with Kin Restaurant and Kin Café joining the three-strong Persian restaurants, Naroon, which expanded earlier this year.
