Various Eateries has reported a revenue uplift of 9% to £49.5m in FY24, which was largely driven by new site openings. The hospitality group also managed to hit adjusted EBITDA profits of £0.3m – up from a loss of £2.2m a year before – due to “a solid trading performance and significant operational improvements”.
Admiral Taverns is “well-positioned” to weather employer NICs rises following strong trading, which saw underlying operating profits rise almost 1% to £37.2m for the year to 26 May 2024. Alongside this, the company’s turnover rose nearly 7% from £182m up to £194.5m for the period. The company’s EBITDA also rose almost 7% to £59.7m.
Boxpark’s original flagship in Shoreditch will remain open until the end of September 2025, following support from the landlords Ballymore and Hammerson, the local community and its key stakeholders including Greater London Authority (GLA) and London Boroughs of Hackney and Tower Hamlets.
