New Japanese-inspired café to open in Knightsbridge

At Clap Ka-fe customers will able to enjoy artisanal coffees, premium matcha, sencha, and a curated selection of Japanese pastries, sandos, sushi sets, and salads

A new design-led café with minimalist Japanese-inspired ambience, Clap Ka-fe, is set to open in London on 31 March.

Rooted in the philosophy that nature’s beauty lies in its imperfections, Clap Ka-fe will focus on “simplicity and organic elegance” reflected in the interiors and menus.

Opening in Knightsbridge, Clap Ka-fe will offer a space to eat-in as well as a grab-and-go experience also available via Slerp and Deliveroo. Customers will be able to enjoy artisanal coffees, premium matcha, sencha, and a curated selection of Japanese pastries, sandos, sushi sets, and salads.

Rooted in sustainability and mindful living, the café partners with DIRTEA to serve super blends infused with functional mushrooms.

Max della Torre e Tasso, director of business development Europe for AlphaMind, said: “We are beyond excited to introduce Clap Ka-fe to London and the world. From the very beginning, our vision was to create more than just a café—we wanted to craft a serene space for guests to slow down and enjoy high-quality, Japanese-inspired food and drinks.

“Whether it’s a perfectly whisked matcha, a handcrafted sando, or a nourishing sushi set, every detail has been thoughtfully curated to bring a sense of balance, indulgence, and wellness to London.”
