Corbin & King opens Soutine on St John’s Wood High Street

Corbin and King has announced the launch of new restaurant Soutine, on London’s St John’s Wood High Street.

The new restaurant is due to open at the end of April, in a period building at number 60 on the high street, the operator says the venue will take inspiration from the boulevard cafés of Paris, with the front room and pavement offering café and bar seating, leading to a slightly more formal space at the rear of the restaurant.

Spanning over 3,500 square feet, the restaurant design is said to be heavily influenced by the area’s artistic heritage. The front room will offer coffees and other hot drinks alongside more substantial all-day dining. A marble top bar will offer seating for up to 15 guests, who will be able to drink or dine, the rear salon hopes to offer a more formal dining experience.
