Burger King joins Uber Eats platform

High street favourite Burger King has joined the Uber Eats app, as it looks to increase the availability of its flame-grilled burgers.

Burger King is now available on the Uber Eats app in 200 locations in towns and cities across the UK, including London, Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham, Bristol, Glasgow and Oxford.

Burger King added there are plans to roll out to even more locations over the coming months.

On the app, Burger King will offer an array of its burgers including the Bacon King and the Whopper.

Toussaint Wattinne, GM of Uber Eats in the UK, said: “Burger King has been one of the UK’s best-loved restaurants for decades, and we are absolutely delighted that it has joined the Uber Eats app. Whether you are craving a Whopper, a Chicken Royale, or anything in between, it is now available via the Uber Eats app.”

Soco Nunez, communications director of Burger King UK, said: “We couldn’t be happier to join Uber Eats and give our fans another way to enjoy their favourite Burger King menu items.

“We know there are still many customers that can’t make it into restaurants yet, so we’re delighted to be able to continue to serve them our iconic Whopper and other fan favourites via Uber Eats.”
