Taster launches its first delivery offering in Bristol

Taster, the delivery-first restaurant group, has announced its arrival in Bristol after securing its first franchise partner in the city.

From 23 June, Bristolians will be able to order two new brands from Taster’s delivery-only portfolio, Korean fried chicken Out Fry and dirty vegan burgers, A Burgers. The food will be “prepared and delivered by the team at the Whiteladies Road establishment, Brace and Browns, and available through Deliveroo and Uber Eats”.

Taster already operates out of 50 major cities in Europe including Paris, Madrid and Brussels. In the UK, it already has kitchen partners based in London, Brighton and Reading, and is also launching in Birmingham in the next few weeks. It follows the $37m (£29.3m) funding last year.

Dave Brown, owner of Brace and Browns, said: “The team at Taster have been very supportive with training and the set up process has been smooth so far.

“We’re excited to be bringing Out Fry and A Burgers to Bristol alongside our existing business – after 12 years of trading we are looking to diversify and add growth after a tough few years. We know that food delivery is a booming market and we want to be part of it.”
