New Brewdog drive-through set to open in the UK

Scottish craft brewer Brewdog has revealed plans to open a new ‘Brewdog Drive Thru’ in the UK.

The sites will serve as beer collection points, hubs for electric vehicle deliveries as well as hubs for closed loop, zero waste packaging such as growlers, mini-kegs and returnable bottles.

The group said that while it is looking to open in the UK, it has also set its sights on Columbus Ohio, in Berlin, Germany and in Brisbane Australia, as it looks to find ways to deliver its craft beer directly to customers in a way that is “better for the planet”.

It comes after BrewDog announced it is re-launching its beer delivery service, which offers customers the opportunity to order freshly canned beer straight from their local Brewdog pubs.

The first Brewdog locations to offer the on demand beer drops will be Aberdeen, Edinburgh, London, Glasgow, Sheffield, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Reading, Birmingham and Bristol.

Sites will also be offering a limited food menu featuring BrewDog classics such as burgers and wings. The fresh beer offering will include Brewdogs flagship Punk IPA at and Lost Lager, with other canned and bottled beers available alongside soft drinks and spirits.
