Robinsons Brewery invests £1.6m in pub partners during Q1
This rise in investment spending represents a three-fold increase on Robinson Brewery’s 2023 levels
Robinson Brewery has “significantly” increased its investment spend to £1.6m, which has already gone toward the group’s business partners and supported nine sites in the first three months of 2024.
This rise in investment spending represents a three-fold increase on Robinson Brewery’s 2023 levels.
According to Robinson Brewery and its business partners, the rise in investment is a sign of more long-term post pandemic confidence.
In total, the group spent £2.3m, meaning an average of just under £200k per pub, which kept the brewery on track to support around 10% of its 250-pub estate each year.
William Robinson, director of pub division at Robinson Brewery, said: “Our overall investment plan has not changed but what we are seeing this year is a significant increase in spend alongside our business partners.
“The significant increase reflects our dedication to nurturing and developing long-term partnerships and ensuring each of our pubs can be the best in the community it serves.”
He added: “We have a promising investment plan for the second quarter of 2024, and look forward to announcing further updates towards the end of June.”
