Sushi Daily expands to standalone restaurants with New Oxford Street outlet

Sushi Daily has announced it is to open its first standalone restaurant on London’s New Oxford Street.

Previously, the sushi chain existed as a concession in branches of John Lewis and Waitrose however it has now followed smoothie chain Joe and the Juice in branching out of the stores. Sushi Daily has announced the new restaurant will be the chain’s “flagship” store as it aims roll out further restaurants at a later date.

The chain has worked with former Feng Sushi managing director Silla Bjerrum, to create new dishes for the restaurant, which will include a wide variety of sushi dishes which will be “well-balanced, nutritious and low in saturated fats”. The restaurant will utilise a click and collect system in attempt to speed up business.

A statement released by Sushi Daily, read: “Seasonality, sustainability, quality and flavour is central to the concept with fish delivered whole to the site, ready to be cut and prepared daily for absolutely freshness.”
