Black Sheep Coffee has agreed to let Urban Creation’s commercial space at 60 Queens Road, Bristol, which is split across the ground floor and basement.
Previously occupied by Vodafone, the cafe chain will open in the 2,724 sq ft unit soon on a 15-year lease.
The arrival of a Black Sheep Coffee site is said to mark a step in revitalising the Bristol Triangle area, as well as enhancing the local community.
In 2024, Urban Creations purchased the freehold of the entire building at 60 Queens Road, having previously owned and extensively renovated the upper floors two years prior.
Jonathan Brecknell, founder of Urban Creation, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Black Sheep Coffee to 60 Queens Road. Their brand aligns perfectly with our vision for the area, and we’re excited to see the positive impact they’ll have on the local community.”
Rob Palmer, director in Savills’ retail team, added: “Queens Road is one of Bristol’s busiest retail locations, known for its vibrant mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants. The arrival of Black Sheep Coffee reflects the ongoing demand for premium retail spaces in key urban areas.
“This letting will not only enhance the commercial landscape but also provide a high-quality amenity for the local community.”
Founded in 2013 by Eirik and Gabriel, Black Sheep Coffee set out to disrupt the coffee industry with their bold 100% Robusta beans. Today, the brand operates nationwide, offering a range of specialty coffees.
