A fleet of Costa Coffee kiosks are set to hit some of the UK’s biggest live events next year, as part of a deal between the company and Freemans Event Partners.
The move builds on the success of the collaboration between Freemans Event Partners and Costa Coffee during the Summer’s Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
The partnership saw eight mobile kiosks built and deployed in venues across France’s capital.
The kiosks sold more than half a million drinks during the event, with the Olympic Village kiosk selling a drink every 13 seconds.
Freemans Event Partners will be redeploying the kiosks at venues across the UK, such as the Allianz Stadium in Twickenham, Cheltenham Racecourse, Badminton Horse Trials and the BMW PGA in Wentworth, Surrey.
Jason Mumby, client development and strategy director at Freemans Event Partners, said: “Increased demand for great quality coffee is a trend that we’ve been witnessing in the event space over the last few years. Coffee has always been a consistent revenue generator across our portfolio of live events.
“We are committed to ensuring that we are helping our venue clients to provide the best fan experience possible and working with the most recognisable high-street brands and giving them space across our events, helps us achieve this goal. We aim to grow our fleet further to launch at more venues, and welcome enquiries from events and operators looking to hire a Costa Coffee kiosk.”
Andrew Miller, B2B express and corporate director at Costa Coffee, added: “We are always looking for new ways to connect with our consumers, and the live event space has been a fantastic avenue for growth through working with Freemans Event Partners.
“The evolution of this relationship allows us to bring the Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop* experience to even more consumers across a greater number of events – ensuring that everyone can enjoy the quality and accessibility that Costa Coffee is known for – wherever they may be.”
