Kitnors tearoom in Exmoor National Park has been acquired by new operators for an undisclosed price.
The property boasts a large tea garden with over 50 covers and a fully-fitted outdoor kitchen.
The cottage is under a National Trust lease and also contains three-bedroom owners’ accommodation, including a large lounge-diner with open fire.
Kitnors has been let on behalf of Katy Lampard, who said: “It has been a pleasure operating Kitnors. We have been supported by so many wonderful customers over the years and I am confident that David and Linzy will take it from strength to strength.”
David and Linzy, new operators, added: “We are tremendously excited about taking over Kitnors and have big plans for its future. We look forward to welcoming back all our customers when we reopen in the Spring.”
The transaction of the property was handled by Tim Widdows, associate director at Christie and Co.
Widdows said:“It was a pleasure working on the sale of Kitnors, we received plenty of interest and I am delighted it has gone to such enthusiastic new operators. I wish them the best of luck in their new venture.”
