Lavazza to relaunch flagship site in London
The newly renovated concept store will include a Caffetteria as well as a Pasticceria and Gastronomia, with a menu inspired by Michelin-starred chef Federico Zanasi
Lavazza is set to relaunch a renovated flagship site in central London, inspired by the first site based in Milan.
Situated in a historical building opposite the Liberty store on Great Marlborough Street, Lavazza has “engaged with renowned names, from design to gastronomy”, to transform the site.
The newly renovated concept store will include a Caffetteria as well as a Pasticceria and Gastronomia, with a menu inspired by Michelin-starred chef Federico Zanasi.
An extensive coffee menu, including Lavazza exclusive coffee design recipes, pastries, dishes and Aperitivos “come together to create a destination where speciality coffee meets pastry and gastronomy delicacies”.
The Lavazza Flagship will also launch a signature pastry offering by Chef Marco Pedron, available from breakfast through to afternoon tea, available exclusively at the Lavazza Flagship London and Milan stores.
A new gastronomy menu will also be launched by Michelin starred chef Federico Zanasi with dishes from maritozzo with burrata and octopus to focaccia with stracciatella cheese, mortadella and pistachio pesto.
Gloria Bagdadli, global retailing director, Lavazza Group, said: “The Lavazza Flagship Store in London is a place where customers can immerse themselves in coffee experiences. The newly designed space from the Caffetteria to the Pasticceria and Gastronomia, offer exclusive ways to enjoy our 1895 Specialty Coffee by Lavazza, Italian Michelin starred gastronomy and awarded creativity in Italian pastry.”
