Two Magpies Bakery launches Mini Magpies site

Two Magpies Bakery has launched its fourth Mini Magpies site, consolidating its restaurant in Holt to meet the rising demand from customers looking to eat on-the-go.

The bakery and cafe group, which has six bakery and cafe sites across Suffolk and Norfolk, along with three Mini Magpies outlets in Southwold, Beccles and Wells-Next-The-Sea, has rebranded the current Holt restaurant, bakery and café to its smaller Mini Magpies format, targeting those who want to grab a coffee or baked treat.

Known for its homemade bread, pastries and sweet bakes, the latest Mini Magpies site in north Norfolk now offers an extensive range of Viennoiseries and take away baked goods, as well as 27 covers available for those looking to dine in. 

Since opening in Southwold in 2013, Two Magpies has established a central bakery and baking school in Darsham, as well as bakery/cafes in Aldeburgh, Norwich, Framlingham, Blakeney, and Woodbridge across Norfolk and Suffolk and now four mini magpies sites in Wells-next-the-Sea, Southwold, Beccles and Holt.

Yasmin Wyatt, operations director at Two Magpies, said: “We are excited about the rebrand of our Holt site, which will better suit the needs of those in the local community, offering all the same great customer service and delicious bakes, but placing more emphasis on items that can be eaten on the go. Our Blakeney cafe is also just five minutes away and offers the restaurant experience, if customers prefer.

“We originally opened our Holt site 3 years ago and our team has built a great relationship with customers here. It is because of this, and the great feedback we have received for our other Mini Magpies sites, that we feel this is a really positive change for the local area, catering for the growing demand for great-tasting coffee and baked treats to takeaway.”
