Sodexo appoints UK&I MD for energy and resources

Ed Morrow will be responsible for Sodexo’s energy and resources business which delivers catering, hospitality and welfare services to over 40 onshore energy and offshore and marine client sites throughout the UK

​Sodexo has announced the appointment of Ed Morrow as the new managing director of its energy and resources business in the UK and Ireland, following the promotion of Cunera Vlaar to lead Sodexo Netherlands. 

Morrow joined Sodexo in 2007 as finance director for energy and resources UK&I. Since then, he has held a number of senior roles in the business, including CFO of Europe and Israel, finance director for global offshore and marine, and global VP for onshore energy and offshore and marine.

In his new role, Morrow will be responsible for Sodexo’s energy and resources business which delivers catering, hospitality, welfare, facilities management services, property management and refurbishments services to over 40 onshore energy and offshore and marine client sites throughout the UK.

Morrow said: “Having worked in this business for more than 15 years, I’m delighted to be leading Sodexo’s talented and dedicated energy and resources team. Our focus is on our site teams and clients to ensure we continue to stay ahead of the curve through our commitment to safety and providing outstanding service and support. 

“We deliver a ‘home from home’ service to many with integrated services that support the wellbeing, and meet the evolving needs, of employees working in often isolated and complex environments such as offshore platforms in the North Sea or onshore liquified natural gas plants and refineries.”
