Ceviche Soho to close after 13 years of trading
The Frith Street location was opened by Martin Morales in 2012
Peruvian restaurant Ceviche Soho has recently announced the closure of the restaurant after 13 years.
The Frith Street location was opened by Martin Morales in 2012 who then went on to open other Ceviche sites in the capital.
In 2019 the group fell into administration and the site was bought by Rosa’s Thai Café founders in a deal which included Andina in Shoreditch and Casita Andina in Soho.
Andina is currently the only location that will continue to trade.
In an official announcement on the restaurant’s website, the group said: “We want to express the deepest thanks to our team, whose passion and hard work have never waivered, even throughout the hardest of times. Your commitment and passion for your work made this a place to work like no other. Thank you for making Ceviche all that it was. What a journey it has been.
“To our customers, we are profoundly grateful for the support you’ve shown us over the years. From lively late nights spent nursing a pisco sour on the bar, to celebrations over ceviche handcrafted by our chefs – every memory created within these walls will forever hold a special place in our hearts and while our physical doors may be closing, the spirit of Ceviche will live as you continue to seek out the incredible food that brought us together.”
