Bar Douro launches home delivery

Contemporary Portugese restaurant Bar Douro has launched its home delivery service amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The restaurant, which opened its London Broadgate site earlier this year, announced for the first time it would be delivering food and wine to homes across London.
Available for collection at London Bridge or order via Deliveroo, the menu includes Bar Douro classics and exclusive new creations for a ready-to-eat feast alongside a selection of Portuguese wines from independent producers.
Divided into Petiscos (snacks), Horta (garden), Mar (sea) and Terra (land), like its menus at Bar Douro in London Bridge and the City, its delivery menu brings a unique Portuese dining experience at home, and will also include a range of Portuguese craft beers and wines to pair with the dishes.
The news comes as many other restaurants have decided to reopen its sites for delivery and takeaway amid the Covid-19 pandemic, such as Nandos, who announced it has opened a further 54 sites for delivery or click and collect yesterday (26 May) and will also reopen an additional 40 sites today (27 May).
Other restaurants include TGI Fridays, Wagamama, McDonalds and Costa.
