Creams to open two new locations under new partnership

The new openings, in Wigan and Blackburn have come in response to a rapidly increasing demand for the brand

One of UK’s leading dessert destinations, Creams Cafe, is set to further extend its reach with two openings agreed under a new partnership with Park Garage Group.

The sites will open in Wigan and Blackburn in April and come in response to seeing a rapidly increasing demand for the brand within the North of England.

Located close to DW Stadium, the new opening in Park Garages Wigan will meet the needs of sporting event visitors, residents, and those passing through and in need of a refuel. The kiosk-style format spans 50m sq and will trade seven days a week as well as offer delivery within a 5km radius.

Both new venues will offer Creams’ classic menu of desserts and sweet treats, including loaded waffles, crepes, sundaes, milkshakes and cookie doughs, alongside Creams’ blend of coffee, ground and roasted in the UK, served alongside custom-made cakes and doughnuts.

The interiors at each new cafe will showcase Creams’ signature interior style, making use of a bright and vibrant colour palette, with graffiti-style artwork, neon signage and playful mixed materials. Creams’ distinctive gelato counter holding 24 flavours will also feature at Creams Cafe Park Garages Blackburn.

Everett Fieldgate, CEO of Creams, said: “Despite the challenging current economic climate, we have had a really successful start to the year and we’re very fortunate that we are in a position to continue opening more sites across the UK, such as these two in Wigan and Blackburn.

“This partnership with Park Garages is another big moment for Creams, allowing us to reach yet another new audience, and also to continue our expansion in the North of England.”
