Badiani to open branches in Westfield White City and Windsor
Both shops will serve up a range of gelato flavours and vegan sorbets from gelato-maker Paolo Pomposi, freshly made waffles and crepes
Italian gelato producer Badiani has announced its continued expansion in the UK with the opening of a new flagship at Westfield London in White City, as well as a shop on Windsor’s High Street later this month.
The White City store, which is a 861 sq ft site located next to The Square entrance on Westfield’s ground floor, will officially open on 31 July and will be Badiani’s 14th shop in the UK.
The venue will offer customers grab-and-go and seating for up to 20 people.
Meanwhile, the Windsor branch is a 984 sq ft shop and will feature a violet facade and several seats inside, alongside a reading nook for guests.
Both shops will serve up a range of gelato flavours and vegan sorbets from gelato-maker Paolo Pomposi, freshly made waffles and crepes, pinguinos, gelato cookies, and the recently launched gelato burgers. Badiani also serves hot chocolates and artisan coffees.
Massimo Franchi, CEO of Badiani, said: “We are thrilled to bring the Badiani experience to Westfield London and to the historic town of Windsor.
“Both openings mark a significant step in our expansion throughout the UK. We hope that locals and tourists alike will enjoy an authentic Italian experience.”
The company first arrived in London in 2015 and in recent years has stepped up its expansion efforts in and outside of the capital, with new summer openings in Brighton and Lakeside.
