Happy Face Pizza expands with two new sites

Neapolitan Happy Face Pizza has announced the opening of two new restaurants in London, marking its expansion in the capital.
Following in the footsteps of the 2018 flagship site in Kings Cross and underground Supermax bar, the first of the new sites has now opened in Victoria, followed by a site in northwest London, near Brent Cross Shopping Centre in February 2022.
Happy Face Pizza Victoria is a 50-cover, 1200 square foot restaurant located in Eccleston Yards and the similarly sized restaurant is opening on Claremont Way, at the front of the new Brent Cross Town.
It revealed both restaurants will offer Happy Face’s “signature” Neapolitan pizza, created using a 72-hour fermented dough for a “lighter and easier” to digest crust.
The brand said to expect a concise menu of Neapolitan style pizzas, including vegan and gluten-free, created by executive chef Mario Mastrangelo, ranging from a classic margherita to the rucola with mozzarella, rocket, prosciutto crudo and parmesan, and the vegan pepperoni.
The bar will offer a “carefully” chosen list of Italian wines, beers, and cocktails, including three variations on the Negroni. From the team behind Spiritland, there will also be a sound-system and curated playlists.
Dominic Lake, Happy Face Pizza co-founder, said: “Following the success of our flagship in Kings Cross, we are excited to be bringing our pizzas to Victoria and Brent Cross. We offer seriously good pizza, at an accessible price point, and look forward to establishing both our restaurants as part of their respective neighbourhoods.”
