Wasabi to open new Central London venue
The grand opening will take place on 27 March marking the brand's return to launching new locations

Wasabi has announced the opening of its latest location near Monument station in Central London, its first new opening in London for some time.
The King William Street location spans approximately 1,600 sq ft and will offer 37 covers.
The space features updated design elements, including new banquette seating, internal signage, and a warmer colour palette which reflects a contemporary and inviting atmosphere.
The grand opening will take place on 27 March marking the brand’s return to launching new locations.

This landmark opening with an updated vibrant design signals the start of an exciting 2025 for Wasabi on our journey to bringing made fresh daily sushi and bento dishes full of bold Asian flavours to more and more consumers.”
Most recently, Wasabi posted profits of £21.9m for the year ended 31 December 2023.The company stated that this was down to a “solid performance” which improved profitability as it balanced inflationary pressure with value for money for customers.
Furthermore, the company revealed that it had net assets of £25.3m, up from £3.4m in December 2022.
In 2020 Capdesia and Sushiro Global Holdings became the majority shareholder in the company, after initially making a minor investment in May 2019.
