‘World’s first’ bleeding vegan burger restaurant to open in London
The “world’s first” dedicated bleeding vegan burger restaurant is set to open in London this December.
Halo Burger, will open at Pop Brixton, claiming to offer “a new spin on fast food, pairing a nostalgic experience with good vibes and great tunes”. The restaurant will specialise in the ‘Beyond Burger’, made entirely from plants which “looks, cooks, tastes and ‘bleeds’ like a fresh beef burger”.
According to the restaurant, its team spent 18 months developing a “secret seasoning” to accompany the burger, with tastings in London and California. Every item on the Halo Burger menu is made from plants.
Halo Burger said it was not “here to be the next health fad, it’s here to give you what you crave, help you reduce your impact on the planet all while still fuelling your passion for great tasting food all at an affordable price”.
