Tortilla now expects its FY24 revenue forecast to exceed expectations, and as a result, has adjusted its guidance range to between £64m and £64.3m. This follows the continuation of the strong sales recovery for the group’s UK business. Like-for-like sales in the UK led the group’s recovery to a position of growth in Q3 of +0.6%, followed by a strong Q4 of at least +4%. In addition, Tortilla’s adjusted net debt at the close of FY24 is expected to sit at £7.3m.
Hackney’s Clapton Hart pub has reopened following a rescue and refurbishment. It comes as Urban Pubs and Bars stepped in to secure the future of the historic pub as part of a broader acquisition deal. Dating back to 1722, it became a Reid’s Brewery pub in the 1890s and later a Bass Charrington pub in the 1980s. After closing in 2008, it was revived by Antic in 2012 before its recent closure and subsequent rescue.
Moana Poke has opened a new venue in the Trafford Centre, its second site in the UK. Founded in Bruges, Belgium, in 2019, Moana Poke has sites across Europe and now the UK.
