SSP Group has begun an IPO of Travel Food Services in India, in conjunction with its joint venture partner, K Hospitality Corp. Subject to regulatory approvals, the pricing and completion of the IPO is targeted to be in spring 2025. SSP acquired an initial stake in TFS in 2016 and currently holds 49% of TFS (which it consolidates) for which it paid approximately £57.9m.

Liberation has promoted Alice Bowyer to the newly-created role of director of food and drink. Bowyer, who was made director of food in 2023, will retain her current responsibilities while also leading in the acceleration and innovation of the drinks side of the pub business. Since joining the group in 2016, Bowyer has risen through the ranks and increased pub sales.

Bold Street Coffee will be launching its first ever coffee subscription service. Subscribers to the service will be able to choose their preferred delivery frequency: weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. They can also personalise things such as grind size, roast profile and quantity. It comes after the company’s opening of a fifth site in Manchester.

Kinsfolk and Co will open a new dining and bar concept in summer 2025 as part of The Newman, marking its first venture. Taking residence in Fitzrovia, The Newman, will comprise an all-day brasserie and underground bar, in addition to 81 rooms, suites and apartments, and a dedicated wellness spa.
