Joe and the Juice will be opening a flagship site in Manchester on Saturday 15 March. According to the Danish juice bar chain, the opening was inspired by Manchester-based rap star Aitch, who slid into the brand’s Instagram DMs to voice his desire for a store in his hometown. In addition, Joe and the Juice has plans to open a further five new stores in Manchester in the next 12 months, with the next one due to open at Manchester Airport

Lomond Leisure Group will be launching Kirk O’The Lochs in Tarbet, Scotland, in April. The new restaurant and bar, which will seat up to 100 guests, is set in a restored historic church in the heart of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Kirk O’The Lochs will offer traditional Scottish cuisine with a modern twist, featuring locally sourced ingredients, an outdoor beer garden, Sunday lunches and a selection of Scottish ales and malt whiskies.

Noodle and Beer has opened a new restaurant in London’s Chinatown at 27 Wardour Street. Joining the neighbourhood in a 950 sq ft unit, the “authentic” Sichuanese restaurant sits amongst other concepts including Pochawa Grill, Kung Fu Noodle, and Chinatown Bakery. With 42 covers across two floors, including an “intimate” dining setting in the basement, the restaurant captures the “socialisation-focused culture” associated with the Sichuan region.

Urban Pubs and Bars has reopened the East Dulwich Tavern after a £1m refurb programme. The pub holds a key location on the high street, sitting on the corner of Lordship Lane and Goose Green. The extensive month-long refurbishment has delivered a main floor offering a “lively and relaxed setting”. Previously reserved exclusively for private hire, this space features its own bar and sound system offering additional seating.
