Fuller’s adjusted PBT jumped by 21% to £17.6m for H1 to 28 September, as like-for-like sales in its managed pubs and hostels rose by 5.2%. Fuller’s has seen growth in all areas of the business, with food like-for-like sales rising 5.5%, and drink and accommodation both rising 4.9%.
Excel London has opened Waterfront Street Kitchen and Bar, a food destination offering an all-day dining experience at Immerse LDN, London’s newest immersive entertainment district. Excel’s F&B partner, Levy, and its design and build arm, Benchmark, worked closely with the Excel team to create modern workable areas in the 7,696 sq ft space.
Subway will be rolling out ‘Fresh Forward 2.0’ globally in 2025, which will be the next iteration of its restaurant image. Since the launch of the initial Fresh Forward design in 2017, over 20,000 restaurants worldwide have remodelled. Subway has already tested Fresh Forward 2.0 across all regions and has said it received “overwhelmingly positive” feedback.
Long Chim has opened in Soho, London. Located on Rupert Street, it is said to be the UK’s first ever Bangkok-inspired restaurant. Long Chim serves accessible menus with authentic dishes inspired by the food stalls and markets of modern Bangkok. Long Chim operates restaurants in Australia and the Middle East, with plans to expand in other parts of the world.
