McWin Capital Partners is in talks to acquire Gail’s, according to Bloomberg. It comes as the investment firm’s owners, Henry McGovern and Steven Winegar, already hold shares in the bakery-café chain, having partnered with Bain Capital Credit to take a controlling stake in September 2021. Earlier in November, Sky News reported that Bread Holdings appointed Goldman Sachs to auction a sale of Gail’s with a deal for around £500m said to be touted. 

Rumble Rooms has officially opened today (13 December) in Milton Keynes. This new immersive bar concept is designed to offer a mix of entertainment, games and creative cocktails. Additionally, Rumble Rooms will feature live performances, guest DJs and themed nights that will change regularly. Customers can expect both classic cocktails and new creations, all designed to “complement the immersive environment”.
