Deliveroo’s GTV rose 6% to £1.7bn in Q3 as the company maintains its full year guidance. Total orders increased 2%, while GTV per order was up 4% in constant currency and revenue increased 4% to £498m. In the UK&I, GTV growth reached £1bn, a 7% increase year-on-year, with order growth improving to 2%. UK revenue increased 4% to £308m.
Whitbread has accepted offers on 51 F&B locations for £56m, as part of the group’s plans to exit a total of 126 branded restaurants. According to the Premier Inn owner, it is currently working with its advisers and “remains confident” that it will exit the remaining F&B sites in the next 18 months. It comes as total F&B sales dropped by 7% during H1 FY25.
Boxcar Group will launch its third venue, Bread and Wine in Connaught Village, in Hyde Park London. The new venue will be an all-day dining destination and will have 70 covers across indoor and outdoor areas. The venue will be led by head chef Zisis Gkalmpenis who will oversee both daytime and evening menus.
The Caledonian Edinburgh hotel will debut a new F&B site later this month. News of The Court’s opening follows Henderson Park’s £35m investment in renovation and the hotel’s transition to join Curio Collection by Hilton. The Court embodies the history and character of its past, combining “vintage luxury and mid-century” design.
