The Revel Collective has seen its FY losses before tax widen to £36.7m. The group said that the result was mainly due to non-cash exceptional impairment charges from its restructuring plan. Despite strong festive trading and the annualisation of the acquisition of Peach Pubs, the closure of 13 loss-making bars affected sales, which were 2% at £149.5m.

Big Mamma has reported that its UK turnover almost doubled to £40m in 2023, while pre-tax profits hit £3.7m – rising exponentially since the £359k recorded in 2022. The group has attributed its strong performance to the social media buzz it has garnered, both through its own accounts and from guests who post about visiting its London locations.
