Comptoir Group reshuffles board amid non-exec chair resignation

Current non-executive director Jean-Michel Orieux, who held that role since August 2022, will succeed Beatrice Lafon as chair of the board with immediate effect

Comptoir Group has announced some changes to its board of directors, following non-executive chair Beatrice Lafon’s resignation yesterday (26 June) to “pursue other business interests”.

As a result, current non-executive director Jean-Michel Orieux, who held that role since August 2022, will succeed Lafon as chair of the board with immediate effect.

Meanwhile, Ali Aneizi has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

As the former corporate finance partner and co-head of leisure and hospitality at RSM, Aneizi has extensive sector and professional services experiences spanning almost 30 years.

Nick Ayerst, CEO of Comptoir Group, said: “I would like to thank Beatrice for her considerable contribution to Comptoir during an important period of evolution, and especially for her role in the rebuilding of key business foundations which suffered during Covid.
