Gino D’Acampo to launch fast casual Italian brand

Celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo has announced plans to launch a fast casual dining Italian brand in Manchester.

The My Coffee and Deli Bar will open in September and will be situated inside a Next clothing store. D’Acampo and Next partnered last year with plans to put prosecco bars and restaurants in some of its stores.

The restaurant will serve Italian flatbread, homemade pasta, Neapolitan coffee, pizza and classic sandwiches with an Italian twist. Healthier options will be available with offerings of superfood yoghurts, home-made porridge topped with berries, honey or nuts, and fresh fruit.

The restaurant will also offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes.

My Coffee and Deli Bar will have an online ordering service, enabling customers to order and pay in advance, and collect when ready. It will be D’Acampo’s third restaurant in the northern city.

D’Acampo said: “I can’t wait to launch My Coffee and Deli Bar, a place that serves real Italian food, as it should be, to eat in or to go. Guests can pop in for a quick coffee, bite at breakfast or enjoy lunch with us. It’s a new offering for us but is a common concept in both Italy and London, so we think Manchester will love it!”
