The Balmoral Hotel appoints new executive chef
Paul Hart has over 28 years of culinary experience and will also be responsible for developing imaginative and thoughtful approaches to the hotel menu design
The Balmoral, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Edinburgh, has announced the appointment of Paul Hart as the hotel’s new executive chef.
Hart reportedly joins with over 28 years of culinary experience from Gleneagles where he held the role of culinary development partner. Prior to that, he was also executive head chef of The Scotsman Hotel.
Prior to these posts, he has also worked in other top restaurants including the Michelin-starred Moody Goose Restaurant in Bath and the four AA Red Star Cringletie House Hotel in Peebles. Hart also gained the accolade of three AA rosettes for The Old Course Hotel’s à la carte restaurant while he was head chef.
As part of his appointment, the hotel said Hart will lead The Balmoral’s culinary team, bringing “dedication and passion” to its offering. He will also be responsible for developing imaginative and thoughtful approaches to the hotel menu design.
