The Victoria Oxshott appoints executive chef

Surrey-based gastropub, The Victoria Oxshott, has announced the appointment of Daniel Lee as its new executive chef. 

Lee joins the venue with a wealth of experience, having held senior roles at Seasons Kitchen and Farm Shop, Warbrook House Hotel and Pennyhill Park Hotel. 

Since officially opening three years ago, The Victoria Oxshott was recently named in the Square Meal Top 100 UK Restaurants Awards at number 32 and also secured a listing in Britain’s 100 Best Local Restaurants for 2023 in the Good FoodGuide.

Additionally, The Victoria Oxshott was recognised as ‘One to Watch’ in the Top 50 Gastropubs 2023.

Lee has so far collaborated with the wider team on a new bar menu, which showcases “a selection of elevated British classics with a contemporary twist”.  

Alongside the new bar menu, The Victoria Oxshott has unveiled a new garden bar and dining terrace following an “extensive” renovation. 

Taking its cues from a quintessential English garden, the outdoor area – complete with a wooden pergola, foliage, and ample seating – spans across a lower and middle terrace. 

The middle terrace also features an outdoor bar, as well as banquet tables and seating for larger parties.
