WatchHouse appoints first managing director

Coffee roaster WatchHouse has announced the appointment of Caroline Ottoy as the company’s first managing director, reporting directly to CEO and founder Roland Horne.

Prior to her appointment, Ottoy was the head of operations at organic retailer, Planet Organic. 

Ottoy will be responsible for driving growth for the business by focussing on operational excellence, expanding the growing ecommerce offering, while also continuing to raise the high levels of customer experience. 

WatchHouse is scheduled to open a new location in Marylebone on New Cavendish Street, while another brand is set to open in Covent Garden on Southampton Street. 

Horne said: “I’m delighted to welcome Caroline into the WatchHouse family and I am very much looking forward to working with her as we enter a pivotal period for the business growth. 

“With her proven track record of scaling businesses and experience in senior leadership roles, I’m excited by what we can achieve as we take our modern coffee offering to more people in more places across the UK and internationally.”
