The decision to relaunch the delivery service has allowed some of the brewers staff who live locally to their Brewdog bar, to opt in to returning to work.

Brewdog will provide each member of the team who makes the return with PPE masks and gloves, as well as refresher training on sanitation protocol, and physical distancing measures.

Orders can be made via the Brewdog Hop Drop app.

The news comes as last month, Brewdog announced it was working on producing a batch of hand sanitiser using a WHO approved recipe at its Distillery in Ellon, Aberdeen.

The Brewdog team, supported by founders James Watt and Martin Dickie alongside its community of ‘Equity Punks’, said they are working “around the clock” on producing the first batch to have it available for next week.

It will be given away to local charities and the community, not sold.
